X Is Turning Bookmarks Into History, which allows you see your activities in one place

Popular social media platform, X, former twitter is rolling out a new update, and this new update replaces the old Bookmark feature with something called History.

At first, it looks like just a name change. But it’s more than that.

For years, bookmarks were simple  you save a post and forget about it or come back later,  Now X is turning that idea into a proper “History” tab.

Instead of only saved posts, it now brings everything together in one place:
your bookmarks, liked posts, videos you’ve watched, and links you’ve opened.

it’s no longer just about saving things. It’s about tracking what you’ve done on the app.

And that changes how X sees itself.

It’s slowly moving from a fast-moving social feed into something closer to a personal library  where your activity is stored and easy to go back to.

For heavy users, this actually makes sense. If you save a lot of threads or research content, everything now sits in one place instead of being scattered.

But not everyone is excited.

Some users don’t like the idea of the app keeping a more detailed record of what they read and watch, even if it’s private. Others are just annoyed that the old Bookmark button is gone.

Still, the direction is clear.

X isn’t just trying to be a social media app anymore. It’s trying to become a place where your online activity lives, not just passes through
