Egypt-Based Exits MENA and ACE Acquire Avanz Capital to expand Private Equity

Exits MENA acquisition

Egyptian investment advisory firm Exits MENA, together with the management team of Avanz Capital Egypt, has agreed to acquire the private equity and asset management firm in a seven-figure transaction.

The deal has received preliminary no-objection approval from Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority. Avanz Capital Egypt’s existing management team, led by CEO and Managing Director Haitham Wagih, will remain in place after the acquisition.

The company will rebrand as Exits Manara and become the private equity and asset management arm of Exits MENA. The move expands Exits MENA beyond advisory services and gives the group a broader platform covering investment advisory, private equity and asset management.

Exits MENA was founded in 2022 by Mohamed Aboulnaga Nagaty, Ayman Eltanbouly and Ahla El Saban. The company provides M&A, fundraising, investment readiness, financial advisory, management consulting and capital restructuring services.

Exits MENA Expands Into Private Equity

The acquisition gives Exits MENA direct private equity and asset management capabilities as it expands across Egypt and the wider MENA region. The company said the move will create a more connected platform for startups, SMEs, investors and financial institutions.

ACE’s management team will continue overseeing its investment activities and portfolio after the transaction. Dr. Nader El Sayed will join as a shareholder and executive director, while Investment Director Masa Arafa will retain her role and become a shareholder.

Exits Manara will continue managing Manara 1, its existing fund of funds focused on SMEs. The company also plans to launch Manara 2 for Export Investments, a new vehicle targeting Egyptian mid-sized exporters.

The new fund will focus on helping portfolio companies strengthen their operations and expand into international markets. This gives the newly combined business a direct investment strategy alongside its existing advisory operations.

The acquisition marks a significant expansion for Exits MENA as it moves further into Egypt’s private capital market. With Avanz Capital Egypt becoming Exits Manara, the group will now operate across advisory, private equity and asset management under a single regional platform.
