YouTube megastar Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast), through his charity Beast Philanthropy, has partnered with Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) biotechnology giant Amgen, and the LeBron James Family Foundation to launch a $6.5 million pediatric cancer initiative.
The Initiative: The multi million dollar pledge funds a new SU2C Pediatric Cancer “Dream Team”. The collaborative research project unites top scientists, clinical oncologists, and research institutions to accelerate safer, next generation treatments for children, adolescents, and young adults.
Bridging the Research Gap: Childhood cancer research remains historically underfunded. The initiative aims to modernize therapies by moving laboratory discoveries faster into clinical trials.
Global Awareness: The campaign launched alongside Donaldson’s YouTube video, “I Helped 100 Kids Fight Cancer,” leveraging his platform of over 500 million subscribers to rally public support and funding.
“We all know someone who has been impacted by cancer, so this is something that resonates deeply for all of us… We want the world to see and actively support this fight.” Spokesperson, LeBron James Family Foundation
The joint effort combines global digital reach with institutional medicine to fast track life saving treatments for families facing pediatric cancer diagnoses worldwide.
